Sushmita Sen Announces Aarya 2 With An Intriguing Picture; Makers Begin Shooting For 2nd Season
Aarya is back! Sushmita Sen along with makers begin the shoot for Aarya 2. Former Miss universe shares an intriguing picture while making the announcement
Sushmita Sen returned to TV sets with her recently released web show Aarya. Former Miss Universe, who has been currently in the news for her love life, made her digital debut with Neerja director Ram Madhvani’s suspense thriller. On June 19, 2020, the first instalment of Aarya began to stream online. In Dinsey+Hotstar’s original web show, Sen plays the character of Aarya Saree, a happily married woman, whose life turns upside down when his husband Pharma Baron Tej Sareen, played by Chandrachur Singh, is shot dead.
Sushmita Sen led Aarya received huge accolades and is still being loved by one and so much so that the makers soon announced part 2. Now after a gap of 7 months, Sushmita Sen along with makers have already begun shooting for the 2nd season. Sharing an intriguing picture, Sushmita wrote, “She sees a storm coming...in the mirror!!! #Aarya #season2 “your wish is our command” I love you guys!!! The first instalment of the Aarya series stars an ensemble cast of Namit Das, Manish Chaudhary, Jayant Kripalani, Vikas Kumar, Sikander Kher, Maya Sarao, Sugandha Garg, and Ankur Bhatia in the key roles. The OTT show is written by Sandeep Shrivastava and Anu Singh Choudhary. Aarya is an official adaptation of the Dutch crime-drama Penoza.
Earlier speaking about the first Installment, Ram Madhvani had spilt the beans on the 2nd installment. During his Instagram live, Ram had said, “Does she take control in season two? Let's look at like this, why is it that the audience has loved Aarya so much? It's because of what she wants: to leave the business and protect her children. She then pays the price of what she wants. Now in season two, what will she want the obstacles we are going to put in her way so that you can root for her more.
